Yesterday afternoon at VOiD’s very first full-evangelistic program, 6 students made decisions for Christ, and 13 more want to know about a relationship with God! Praise God!
Thank you for journeying with us in your prayers!

The past 3 days were spent at a seminar… acquiring new tools for my ‘Leadership Toolkit’!
It’s been good… but very ‘mind-gruelling’ ha ha! Yesterday night, I literally wiped out when I hit the bed.. and it wasn’t like I had just run a marathon or any thing like that.
This training has been helpful to help me crystallize some of the concepts that has been floating in my head. I hopeful that these new ideas will help greatly in ForeRunner’s planning for the future.
FR’s newest band VOiD has been on-the-road for a local concert tour for a week now!
The band has performed at several government schools this past week, and have been quite well-received.
Sara & I have been doing the multi-media for the show, and it’s been quite fun. This time round, we’ve up-ed the standard.. to include moving images with moving text, flashing transitions etc. It’s been fun.. but time-consuming to get the effect we want.. hee! =) I also had to work on a 1min video clip that will start the full-evangelistic program next Sunday.
I (Lillian) meet regularly with 2 of our new staff ladies to track with them regarding ministry matters, as well as just what’s happening in their lives. I have been sooooo blessed by them, and through the times we have met up. I am so thankful for the opportunity to get to know them better, and to be the ‘bouncing board’ for them as we talk through things together.
Today I met up with one of them, and at the end of our time, as we prayed for each other, I was very touched by something she prayed. She thanked the Lord for using me to mold her and help her grow… wow…
I feel so undeserving.. and so grateful that He chooses to use me even when I’m not always faithful to Him. “God, you are so gracious to me… too gracious…”
– Lil
Today I realized that when I don’t live up to what I really should be, I get distressed and frustrated….. But this sense of frustration may actually spring from a secret root of pride… that I can’t ‘get my act together’. I guess I could be simply hurt and upset to see me for who I really am.
‘The more clearly you see your true self, the clearer you also see how miserable your self-nature really is; and the more you will abandon your whole being to God. Seeing that you have such a desperate need of Him, you will press toward a more intimate relationship with Him.’
– GUYON (100 Days in the Secret Place)
Glad to be home… with Lil and kids.
But still nursing a throat infection.. and feeling somewhat lethargic.
So slept lots on saturday, and had long afternoon nap today too…. hee.hee.
All 3 kids are not well too… sigh. and taking medicine and all.
Lil has been really understanding and loving. Thank u, darling! =)

Today, I taught the class on building proper Spiritual Foundations that will give us fruitfulness, freshness & faithfulness in the ministry.
As I ended, I encouraged the students that it was important to let a few trusted friends into their private lives. And to seek for accountability.
The prep time was helpful, as these were all good reminders for me. And I’ll be teaching this session again with the new staff in their training in November.
I had a reasonably good sleep last night. This despite the fact that I went to bed with my sweater on!
You see, the aircon in the room only had one setting- ‘COLD‘!! Which was actually fine with my roommate, Pat. In fact, he didn’t even need the blanket (while I was all suited up and cuddled under the thick blanket) I’ve always joked that Pat was born with a completely different (or perhaps, broken) body thermostat. =)
Pat is sharing a devotion right now, from Psalm 1. I’ll be teaching about ‘Friendly Fire’ after this.
Yesterday, we had the privilege to teach about 15 eager students on the ‘Philosophy of Music Ministry’ and the ‘Attitudes of a Music Minister’.
And the training continues…. Thanks v.much for your prayers for us!

my favourite. Kra Pow- or Basil Chicken or Pork!! yummmeeee! That was what I requested at my 1st meal here!
The lighter shade drink on the right side is not diluted coke… but some kind of tea. It’s rather bland… but the Thais love it! =)
Pat & I are headed to Bangkok today… I’m right now at the airport, blogging from the Free Internet stations! =)
We’ll be there till Friday and will be teaching about 8 session, plus some devotions. It’ll be a busy week.. but I’m looking forward to it.
This is part of the heartbeat of ForeRunner to equip, enhance and empower other music ministries to be effective in reaching the lost. It is in line with ForeRunner’s mission to ‘Serve Others in Reaching the Lost Through Music’
Do pray for our families to cope well with the kids and all! =)
I will write more as the week goes by.
